Alex Chilton died today. He was lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter for Big Star. In my conversations with people today, it seems very few people know who they are. Big Star is a phenomenal band. Check out “Thirteen,” one of my favorite songs. In fact, check out the whole album it is on (“#1 Record”), you won’t regret it.
