OK. So my title might be a bit misleading. But still, read that link, because it shows what a hypocrite Joe Lieberman is.
News came out today that the Medicare buy-in option will be dropped from the new health care bill, and with it all hopes that my parents might ever get good health coverage in their lifetime. Why is this happening? Because Joe Lieberman will block the bill if that provision is included. But if you watch the video in the link above, Lieberman proposes the EXACT SAME plan he is now opposed to… in freaking September. He is simply doing this out of spite, he’ll change his opinion to whatever pisses off the Democrats because they tried to get rid of him, which they tried to do because he is constantly pulling crap like this.
At this point, I think he is worse than Michele Bachmann (my previous candidate for America’s Worst Politician), because at least she sticks to her crazy guns and probably genuinely believes them. Everybody should call Joe’s office and give him what fer.
